| Coral
Reef Club
Coral Reef Club is a privately owned and operated, year round
luxury resort hotel located on the West Coast of Barbados. GE
Water & Process Technologies was selected to perform an upgrade
of the existing wastewater treatment system to accommodate resort
expansion.
City
of Pooler Wastewater Treatment Plant
The city of Pooler in Chatham County, GA had decided to upgrade
and expand its existing 1.0 MGD wastewater treatment plant consisting
of an aerated lagoon, and construct a water reclamation facility
using GE's ZeeWeed MBR (membrane bioreactor) technology.
Marco Island Wastewater Treatment Plant
Marco Island nearly triples its population to more than 40,000
during the winter season as tourists surge onto the island to
escape cooler climates. Since 1972, a conventional wastewater
treatment plant (WWTP) has served the growing community on this
small 14-square mile island in Florida's Ten Thousand Islands
area. The WWTP has been expanded three times to increase treatment
capacity to 3.5 MGD for the rising numbers of permanent residents
and tourists, and is in need of another expansion to further increase
capacity and reduce the number of septic systems on the island.
